One of the greatest maternal health needs is postpartum support. From the logistics of raising a new baby to breastfeeding difficulty to postpartum depression, transitioning to life as a new mom is not easy. Mountain Mamas Café aims to help moms with both the logistical and emotional challenges.

This free, weekly gathering of moms offers a weigh station for babies and expert breastfeeding advice. In addition, it is an excellent opportunity to build a strong community of informed mothers in the Gunnison Valley who know what you are going through.

Mountain Mamas Café holds three meetings which include meetings in Gunnison and Crested Butte as well as English and Spanish. Find the weekly meeting schedule and info below.

• Monday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Mentors School House, 101 N. 8th St. in Gunnison
• Wednesday from 11 A.M. to 3:30 p.m. at Mentors School House, 101 N. 8th St. in Gunnison (en Español)
• Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.. at Oh Be Joyful, 625 Maroon Ave. in Crested Butte
