About Clinton

Dr. Clinton McBride is a board-certified family physician whose diverse training spans family medicine, obstetrics, hospitalist care and specialty procedures.

After earning his MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. McBride completed his Family Medicine Residency at Ventura and further honed his skills through a Maternal/Child Health Fellowship at Santa Paula Hospital. Additionally, he is an ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) instructor, reflecting his commitment to excellence in obstetric care and clinical education.

At GVH, Dr. McBride integrates his broad expertise across multiple areas of the health system. As a part-time member of the Family Medicine Clinic team, he specializes in family medicine obstetrics, where he provides full-spectrum prenatal, labor and delivery and postpartum care. Additionally, he is a member of our Hospitalist team, caring for patients in the medical-surgical department and he contributes to our Specialty Clinic by performing colonoscopies.

Dr. McBride’s approach centers on the belief that continuity of care is the cornerstone of effective family medicine. By developing lasting relationships with patients—following them from the hospital to the clinic—he ensures that care is both personalized and comprehensive. His passion for lifelong learning and teaching is evident in his work as a faculty physician with the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency and as an instructor with Hospital Procedures Consultants, where he trains colleagues in a range of essential inpatient procedures.

With his extensive background in clinical practice and education, Dr. McBride is dedicated to enhancing the quality and continuity of care for our community at GVH.
