Kira Kitchens, DNP,FNP-C

About Kira

Kira Kitchens, DNP, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in cardiac care, family medicine and urgent care. She has managed a diverse panel of internal medicine and pediatric patients in rural Montana and excels in urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting and IV therapy.

Kira earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in exercise physiology and later in nursing. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Montana State University, where her studies focused on rural family medicine. Her professional journey started as a bedside nurse caring for critically ill patient in university-based intensive care units. As a nurse practitioner she has worked in roles in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional cardiology in addition to urgent care and family medicine. Kira is passionate about evidence-based care and is dedicated to helping people feel their best.
