Dr. Leslie Moskowitz -Elfenbein is a Board Certified General Ophthalmologist with 17 years of experience treating patients for a variety of conditions. Her clinical interests include anterior segment, medical retina, ophthalmic lasers, and medical diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Moskowitz-Elfenbein also performed cataract surgery for 15 years, but currently practices medical Ophthalmology.

Dr. Moskowitz – Elfenbein graduated with a Major in Biological Sciences, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University in Waltham Massachusetts. She earned her Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York and then completed a one year medical internship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. Dr. Moskowitz-Elfenbein completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Moskowitz-Elfenbein was in private practice at Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons in Fishkill, New York for 16 years before relocating to Colorado. She is excited to bring her experience to the Gunnison Valley and looks forward to bringing Ophthalmology to Gunnison Valley Health.
