Narcie Channell, LCSW

About Narcie

Narcie Channell is a licensed clinical social worker and an active team member for GVH as a School Based Clinician, located at Gunnison High School. She has worked in various behavioral health settings including schools, residential substance abuse treatment centers, outpatient treatment, non-profit work, in-home therapy and treatment foster care with culturally diverse populations of the southwest and Alaska. She has been in the behavioral health field for over 20 years and practicing as a licensed clinician for the last 4 years.


Narcie Channell attended Fort Lewis College where she completed a Bachelor of Art degree with a major in anthropology and minor in sociology. She went to New Mexico Highlands University and completed a master’s degree in social work. Narcie has training in treatment trauma and is furthering her education with currently working towards licensed addiction counselor credentials.


Narcie has worked in a wide array of environments within behavioral and mental health settings with a focus on working with at risk children, adolescents and individuals on the margin of society. She uses her wide array of experiences to help clients discover their potential to create change and healing.
