Gunnison Valley Health (GVH) has been honored with a 2024 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Patient Satisfaction. This recognition, presented by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, places GVH among the top quartile of rural hospitals nationwide for outstanding patient-centered care.
The Performance Leadership Awards are based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a comprehensive and objective framework for assessing rural hospital performance. This INDEX is widely used by rural hospitals, health systems and state offices of rural health to benchmark performance in key operational and financial areas, including Quality, Outcomes and Patient Perspective.
“Earning this recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team to delivering exceptional care and positive patient satisfaction,” said Jason Amrich, CEO of Gunnison Valley Health. “It’s a true testament to the hard work and commitment of our staff in serving the Gunnison Valley community with excellence and compassion.”
“The Performance Leadership Awards capture the commitment, diligence and innovation with which America’s rural hospitals approach the delivery of care within their communities,” said Troy Brown, Network Consultant, The Chartis Center for Rural Health. “It’s a tremendous honor to be able to recognize the efforts of this year’s award winners and celebrate their achievement as part of National Rural Health Day.”
Gunnison Valley Health’s recognition for Patient Satisfaction underscores its ongoing mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the needs of the community.
