Mobile Crisis Services at Gunnison Valley Health

Gunnison Valley Health mobile crisis services are offered 24/7 to anyone experiencing a crisis in Gunnison or Hinsdale County. A mobile crisis clinician and peer support specialist will respond to assist you in safely navigating the immediate crisis. They can assist you with arranging follow-up services post-crisis. The visit is billed to your insurance. You will not be billed a co-pay because we are a contracted provider with United Health Care (UHC). UHC's capacity contract covers all non-insurance costs for your mobile crisis visit.

When dispatched, our mobile crisis clinicians respond quickly and work with everyone involved to support safety and success.

How Do I Access Mobile Crisis Services?

People can call 988 for themselves or if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support.

988 serves as a universal entry point so that no matter where you live in the United States, you can reach a caring, trained counselor who can help. 988 offers 24/7 access to trained crisis counselors who can help people experiencing mental health-related distress.

That could be:

• Thoughts of suicide
• Mental health or substance use crises
• Emotional distress
